My Aunt Shirley passed away in the wee hours of Tuesday morning.  She was in so much pain and it was so hard on my poor Aunt Jean to see her suffer like that, sadly it's a blessing that she is at peace now.  I'll be going back in June to help Aunt Jean out as much as possible for a couple of weeks and to spend some quality time with her as well.

Meanwhile Cliff's PSA is going up and the medicine is not working so we are currently in the process of getting bone and cat scans and changing his medicine.  I pray this one works and lasts longer than 14 months.

It's been a rough week.  The day Aunt Shirley passed I had an epidural in my SI joint and bursa - both sides and that has helped with the pain I was in, but still there is some pain and restlessness on my part that I hope to get rid of with the new round of injections in early June.

Rough Times

Hello Blog Friends,

Please forgive me if I didn't respond to your comments in the last Post I made.  My Aunt Shirley is currently in the care of Hospice and it's just a matter of time now.  My Aunt Jean has her at her home and is doing the best she can for her Sister.  I can't travel yet because of my knee physical therapy, and a procedure Cliff is having at the end of the month.  So I am scheduled to fly back on the 22nd of June, which will probably be to late, but I can be a lot of help to my Aunt Jean by helping her clean out my Aunt Shirley's home.  It's so hard to have my family in North Carolina and me here in WA state.  So if you pray, please keep my family and my Aunt in your prayers.  If you don't pray, you could just send kind thoughts our way - all will be helpful and appreciated.

Happy Stitches and Hugs,
